January 13th, 2019 – Sunday after Epiphany, Feast of the Holy Family: |
English... It is a fact that the most of you were ordained after the Second Vatican Council. At the opening of the Council, only the eldest among you were about 19 years old and maybe young seminarians, while others were still in their childhood or even among the growing population of “not-yet-born”. Therefore, the Council is becoming more and more a historical event of which one has only second hand knowledge, which confronts us with contradictory ways of understanding the underlying hermeneutics: ‘continuity’ and ‘discontinuity’ being the main problems. ... |
Italiano... ... |
Background attached to the first letter Vatican II, a Council in Threefold? What were the stated goals and objectives of the council? The primary rule set by Pope John XXIII in his opening address lays out the substantial law for the Council itself as well as for interpreting the Council documents. The primary rule was that the council was to ‘never depart from the sacred patrimony of truth received from the Fathers’. Accordingly, the Council should be understood as a renewal not only in a kind of continuity with, but more explicit in unity and in accordance with the Doctrine taught by the Fathers. Consider the following quotes taken from the openings address on October 11, 1962 |

English... Because the problem started due to the lack of 'a gracious collaboration concerning the inspiration of the Holy Spirit' and continued with the introduction of the vague 'spirit of the Council' in place of the clear hermeneutic rule set by Pope John XXIII, this problem is in essence of a supernatural origin. ... A public Confession of Faith shall be made by all the Clergy and Hierarchy. This can follow the model of an extended Creed, like the 1968 Creed of Pope Paul VI (Motu Proprio Solemnia Hac Liturgia, June 1968).... | Italiano... ... |

Cardinal Müller issues a Manifest of Faith
As described by Sandro Magister:
If there is a forerunner of this 'Manifesto of faith' from Cardinal Gerhard Müller. released today all over the world, it is the 'Credo of the People of God' proclaimed in 1968 by Paul VI. Then as now, the Church was in a tempest and its very faith was wavering. Paul VI felt it his duty to reaffirm the pillars of Church doctrine. Today, giving this public testimony of faith is the cardinal who was prefect of the congregation for the doctrine of the faith from 2012 to 2017. Müller decided to take this step at the impetus of requests from 'many bishops, priests, religious and laity of the Catholic Church,' concerned over the 'ever more widespread confusion in the teaching of the faith'. As an outline for the 'Credo of the People of God' Paul VI adopted the 'Credo' of the council of Nicaea. Cardinal Müller has instead taken as the guideline for this 'Manifesto of faith' the Catechism of the Catholic Church, to which the numbers in parentheses in the text refer You can find the text HERE in Italiano, English, Espagnol and Français |

February 19th, 2019the Open Letter by the Cardinals Burke and Brandmüller to the Presidents of the Bishop Conferences, gathering the coming days in the Vatican on the sexual abuses.
Sexual abuse is blamed on clericalism. But the first and primary fault of the clergy does not rest in the abuse of power but in having gone away from the truth of the Gospel. The even public denial, by words and by acts, of the divine and natural law, is at the root of the evil that corrupts certain circles in the Church.

February 20th, 2019Letter III a third Open Letter to all diocese Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops and Auxiliary Bishops
May the acts by these Cardinals encourage you to present the result of my analysis concerning the roots of the 'confusion, bitterness in human relations and fratricidal wars' in the Church since Vatican II in the first letter and the proposed solution in the second letter to our Holy Father!
Furthermore, I would like to use the opportunity of this letter to present you a new unexpected confirmation of some details of my analyses, that I discovered last month in Yves Chiron’s biography of Mgr. Bugnini
